Insomniac Events has announced Factory 93 will host the Neon Garden at EDC Las Vegas 2017.
Over the past five years, Neon Garden has become an oasis of techno and house at EDC Vegas (Major Lazer played there in 2012). Now that Factory 93 is showing massive success, it made sense that the brand would officially take over Neon Garden.
Since the first event back in May of 2016, Factory 93 has revived warehouse culture in Los Angeles. Factory 93 events have featured Hot Since 82, Solomun, Get Real and more, all of which have sold out. Insomniac is heading to Vegas with a series of successes under their belt, and the best stage at EDC will be even better.
I myself was fortunate enough to attend the last event with Nicole Moudaber, and it was very impressive. Insomniac merged an authentic warehouse setting with their revered production quality. The building had massive murals painted on the exterior, and there were even food trucks.
This rededication to the roots of rave culture will be a welcome addition to the aesthetic at EDC Vegas.
