Mau P has just dropped 2024’s hottest track, “On Again” on Insomniac Records. First teased online a few weeks ago, “On Again” is proving to be a dance floor anthem.
Real name Maurits Jan Westveen (or Maurice West), Mau P is no stranger to creating top hits in the studio. What makes “On Again” unique for Mau P is the use of his own vocals in the track. While he is no stranger to making house and techno beats, hearing his own sultry vocals is a nice surprise.
“I just want to party turn it on again” in a higher-than-expected pitch from the producer is the catchphrase of the single, with a booming house beat that follows.
Along with this production, Mau P has also dropped a cinematic music video starring Mau P by himself and showing him in various states of life. The video shows him as a robot and booting on in order to keep partying.
Mau P has made waves in the music scene since his release of “Drugs From Amsterdam” back in 2022. Since then, he has started to headline festivals such as Coachella’s Quasar stage just last month and will play at EDC Las Vegas in a few weeks.
