Ultra Music Festival To Make Full-Scale Debut In Hong Kong

Ultra Worldwide continues to break new ground and new markets, as today, the global festival powerhouse has announced official dates for the first edition of Ultra Hong Kong.

Halfway around the world from the brand’s hallmark festival in Miami, Ultra will make its Hong Kong debut at the city’s Central Harbourfront Event Space on September 14, 2024.

It won’t technically be the first time Ultra has touched down in Hong Kong. As part of the brand’s Road To Ultra event series—a well-trodden test market practice that has seen spin-off events grow into staple festivals around the globe—the city has welcomed huge DJs like David Guetta, Axwell Λ Ingrosso and more.

However, the event will mark Ultra’s first appearance in Hong Kong as a full-scale, standalone festival, as well as the brand’s first trip back to the city since 2018. Starting in 2016, Hong Kong’s three-year Road to Ultra run hosted over 100,000 ravers, and even more are expected to turn out for the festival’s final evolution this September.

Ultra Hong Kong will feature two stages, including the brand’s famously production-heavy main stage—expected to boast international headliners—as well as the RESISTANCE stage—the home of house and techno at every Ultra event.

No lineup for Ultra Hong Kong has been revealed at the time of writing. However, more details will be announced in the coming months.

In addition to Miami, Ultra has already held events in Australia, Peru, Chile and South Africa this year. As the brand continues to expand, other global destinations on Ultra’s 2024 festival itinerary include Korea, Japan, Bali, Indonesia, and Croatia—hosting the 10th anniversary of Ultra Europe.

Pre-sale registration for Ultra Hong Kong 2024 is now available here. Pre-sale ticket access will begin on Monday, May 13 at 12PM local time. For more information, visit ultrahongkong.com.
