Black Coffee Announces Warehouse Project Takeover This Fall

Black Coffee is heading back to The Warehouse Project for a curated takeover this fall.

The Grammy-winning South African will headline The Warehouse Project’s famous 10,000-capacity Depot Mayfield venue in Manchester on Saturday, October 26. The three-room show will be his only UK appearance outside of London in 2024.

Joining Black Coffee on The Warehouse Project’s mainstage will be Skepta, who will deliver another in-demand Más Tiempo DJ set, deep house originator and masterful keyboardist Kerri Chandler, and fellow afro-house frontrunner DESIREE.

Elsewhere, The Warehouse Project’s 360-degree concourse stage will give life to sets from soul and jazz-infused house artists Jayda G and TSHA, in addition to club-focused sounds from the likes of Ibiza mainstay THEMBA, recent Nervous Records favorite William Djoko, and veteran Warehouse Project resident Krysko.

Meanwhile, Depot Mayfield’s markedly smaller and more intimate Archive room, which holds just 1,500 guests beneath its reclaimed railway arches, will host performances from further afro-house flagbearers in Jamiie and FKA Mash, as well as rising tech house artist Airrica.

Last year, Black Coffee made his Warehouse Project debut in a special limited-capacity show at Depot Mayfield. Another career-first performance at Madison Square Garden would follow, and the afro-house icon’s run of huge performances at historic venues has continued this year with a debut show at Colorado’s famous Red Rocks this past May.

In addition to a 2022 Best Dance/Electronic Album Grammy for his acclaimed album Subconsciously and an executive production credit on Drake’s house-focused album Honestly, Nevermind, Black Coffee’s now-iconic ongoing residency at Hï Ibiza serves as further proof of his global dominance.

Kicking off with its Repercussion opening party in September, The Warehouse Project’s 2024 season will feature further shows from Sonny Fodera, Hannah Laing, Hedex, Boiler Room, Overmono, and more.

Pre-sale registration for Black Coffee at The Warehouse Project is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access will begin this Thursday, July 11, at 10AM local time. General on-sale will follow on Friday, July 12, at 10AM local time.
