Tomorrowland Global Journey Travel Program Unites Over 46,000 Attendees

Tomorrowland

The 20-year anniversary edition of Tomorrowland is just days away, which means more than 46,000 festivalgoers from over 30 countries and 50 cities across the globe have begun their trek to Boom, Belgium, as part of the festival giant’s Global Journey travel program.

Said to be “the largest ever undertaking by a festival worldwide,” according to Tomorrowland, this year’s program officially began last week as the first guests participating in Global Journey’s Discover Europe trip arrived on the continent, kickstarting an action-packed five-city journey that connects fellow music fans ahead of their weekend of magic at the festival.

In the coming days, participants will set off from their rendezvous points in Amsterdam and Barcelona and head towards Boom, but first, they’ll be invited to participate in several festival-curated travel experiences.

Among them are Tomorrowland’s Discover Belgium package, a multi-city tour unearthing the hidden gems of Antwerp, Bruges, Ghent, and Brussels; Invited Brussels, an official Thursday night Global Journey pre-party at the Gare Maritime Foot Market featuring a stage embedded in the local architecture; and the Tomorrowland x Ridley Cycling Package, which brings up to 20 fans on a three-day, on and off-road trip through Belgium’s historic cycling routes.

Once it is time to bust a move in Boom, Global Journey participants can arrive in the city via Tomorrowland’s Train of Amicorum. For the first time ever, European Sleeper’s festival-branded overnight train will carry people from Prague and Berlin to Belgium.

Tomorrowland’s Party Trains and Party Flights are returning this year, with live DJ performances set to entertain guests during their journeys in the sky and on the rails. Global Journey Party Flights connect over 30 countries and 50 cities worldwide, while the Party Trains will depart from the Netherlands, France, UK, Denmark, Germany, and Luxembourg.

Once they’ve arrived, guests can stay in over 40 different hotels in Brussels, including the festival’s special Tomorrowland Theme Hotel.

Tomorrowland Belgium will return this July 19-21 and July 26-28 with Armin van Buuren, Swedish House Mafia, Amelie Lens, Tale Of Us, Alok, Dom Dolla, John Summit, David Guetta, Tiësto, Afrojack, Vintage Culture and hundreds more.
