Crankdat is bringing his raucous beat drops and a roster of heavyweight dubstep players to Brooklyn’s famous K Bridge this fall.
The Ohio-based DJ and producer will deliver a headline performance from beneath the Kosciuszko Bridge at Greenpoint’s Under The K Bridge Park on Saturday, October 5. Dubbed “Under the CranK Bridge,” the show, produced by Project 91, will mark his biggest headline gig yet, eclipsing the steadily rising dubstep artist’s landmark two-night Absolute Annihilation run in California this past March.
Crankdat, known for his viral speed-run production tutorials on TikTok and simultaneously aggressive and fun-loving dubstep cuts like “STFU” and “Ground Shake,” will be joined in support by the headline-caliber tear-out talent BARELY ALIVE, a massive B3B from Perry Wayne, Ruvlo and CELO, and fellow Youngstown, Ohio artist DROPTOPGUNDAM.
In April, Crankdat brought multi-platinum-selling star DJ Snake into the dubstep realm on their genre-melding debut collaborative single, “Big Bang.” A diversion from Snake’s usual trap and bass house cuts, the adrenaline-laced track is a cyclone of high-energy dubstep, electro, and glitch sure to test the concrete pillars of the K Bridge.
In the time since, Crankdat has continued his ascent to the top of the dubstep scene with a milestone EDC Las Vegas debut in May and another commanding Dog Eat Dog B2B with Riot Ten at Ottawa’s Escapade Music Festival last month. Later this year, he’s slated for further dominant performances at North Coast Music Festival, Dancefestopia, and a Lost Lands debut on the festival’s heralded main stage.
On either side of Crankdat’s NYC return, Under The K Bridge Park will host anticipated house and techno shows from Mau P, Vintage Culture, Black Coffee, and more.
