HARD Summer has unveiled the full run of shows for HARD Weekender, the festival’s annual string of pre and afterparties taking place across the city of Los Angeles.
Before HARD Summer debuts in another new home at Inglewood’s Hollywood Park, the HARD Weekender festivities will begin on Friday, August 2, with a special pre-party curated by Zeds Dead’s downtempo and house label, Altered States.
The iconic dubstep duo will headline the “groovy late night party” with support from Toronto DJ Bobby Love at Lot 613. Meanwhile, dubstep favorite Level Up will bring headbangers en masse to Exchange LA.
After the conclusion of the festival on Saturday, August 3, music fans have their choice of five shows to keep the party pumping late into the night. Dominant UK selectors Overmono, Hamdi, and Pocket will bring their bass-heavy and rave-centric sounds to Lot 613.
Elsewhere around the city, an underground house showcase at the 930 Mateo St. Warehouse will feature performances from Seth Troxler B2B DJ Tennis, Chloé Caillet, and Heidi Lawden; Academy LA will host drum & bass titan Dimension; AVALON Hollywood will offer a bass house performance from Matroda; and Exchange LA will feature techno favorites KETTAMA and Partiboi69’s collaborative KETBOI69 project.
Sunday, August 4, is also packed with heavy hitters to ensure the weekend finishes as hard as it began. Chris Lake will headline an afterparty at the 930 Mateo St. Warehouse, Subtronics will bring his wonky bass tunes to AVALON Hollywood, and Tchami & Malaa will play their second B2B of the weekend at Exchange LA.
Also on Sunday, acclaimed Brazilian house DJs Beltran and Classmatic will be spinning at Lot 613, while the tech house flavor continues at Academy LA with Sosa and Bontan. Check out the full list of HARD Weekender parties below.
HARD Summer will take place at Hollywood Park, a 300-acre mixed-use plot adjacent to SoFi Stadium, on August 3 and 4, with Disclosure, FISHER & Chris Lake’s Under Construction, REZZMAU5, Chase & Status, and more.
