Zeds Dead is heading back to the Motor City for a two-night takeover this fall.
The event, fittingly dubbed “Bassonic Temple,” will take place at Detroit’s Masonic Temple over Thanksgiving weekend, November 29-30, and feature two headline sets from the powerhouse dubstep duo, who will be joined by a diverse roster of supporting acts from the Deadbeats label crew on each night.
In addition to Zeds Dead’s famously genre-blurring bass, night one, Friday, November 29, will feature hard-edged bass house from Habstrakt, as well as a variety of experimental bass and low-end frequencies from highly touted rising Deadbeats stars EAZYBAKED, Eater and Seth David.
With one more name still to be announced for night two, Saturday, November 30, will feature performances from UK garage and bassline talent Taiki Nulight, burgeoning dubstep artist HEYZ, and multi-talented producer-beatboxer HerShe. Check out the official announcement below.
Earlier this week, Deadbeats shared the release date and full tracklist for its forthcoming sixth label compilation. We Are Deadbeats Vol. 6 will arrive tomorrow, Friday, August 23, and features 20 tracks from some of bass music’s buzzed-about rising stars.
Seth David and HerShe are among the latest class of Deadbeats on Vol.6, making their label debut with their collaborative track, “You Better Take This!” alongside productions from label bosses Zeds Dead, CHEE, Abstrakt Sonance, Steller, and many more.
