Rezz has announced a brand new show set to debut in the Bay Area this spring.
The midtempo bass heavyweight and beloved “space mom” will premiere her latest audiovisual spectacle, “PORTAL,” at Daly City, California’s historic 12,000-capacity Cow Palace Arena on March 1, 2025, with more shows to be announced next year.
Billed as her biggest and most ambitious stage production to date, the immersive show is said to set Rezz’s “hypnotic and haunting aesthetic” amid the “dark cosmos of a mysterious new universe,” according to a press release, expanding on the “multi-dimensional graphics, hyperactive lasers, and entrancing lights” that her shows are known for.
Rezz has again teamed up with Bending Lite, the production team behind her previous Spiral and Spectacle designs, to craft the visual production package for PORTAL.
The milestone announcement follows a remarkable run of sell-outs by the Canadian producer and DJ at top venues across the U.S. over the last two years, including highlights such as the debut event from her HypnoVizion label in 2023, her self-produced 2024 “CAN YOU SEE ME?” album tour, and the sixth edition of Rezz Rocks, which championed an all-female support lineup in August.
Last month, Rezz teamed up with Virtual Riot and One True God to release their collaborative single, “Give in to you,” following the May release of Rezz’s rework of her 2016 breakthrough hit, “Edge,” and its two-track remix package.
In March, Rezz released her anticipated album, CAN YOU SEE ME?. Described as a deeper dive into her self-professed “bass music era,” the album featured her “heaviest tracks” yet, including high-profile collaborations with Subtronics, Blanke, and INZO.
