Subtronics Surprise Drops Beloved “Too Sweet” Bootleg On SoundCloud

Subtronics

Subtronics has shared his beloved bootleg of Hozier’s “Too Sweet.”

The mind-bending bass producer and DJ surprised fans by uploading the coveted edit to SoundCloud just hours ago.

The short-and-sweet unofficial remix, which flips Hozier’s sultry vocals from the original hit into an upbeat space bass banger, has been a fan-favorite highlight of Subtronics’ recent performances across another massive touring run this year, including major gigs at Lost Lands, HARD Summer, Ultra Europe and more.

Adding to the bootleg fun, the known meme-lover also added a fresh intro to the track’s SoundCloud upload, wherein an ominous voice recites, “My dear, sweet SoundCloud, may your army of detection algorithms fail, and may this bootleg sneak past you tents so that the people can listen to my silly songs. With all the love in the world, yours truly, Dr. Bong Bong.”

Subtronics announced the surprise drop today with a video posted to Instagram, in which he also appeared to preview the new stage production for his upcoming second annual Cyclops Dome event this weekend.

The Cyclops Recordings label boss will headline three nights at Washington’s famous Tacoma Dome starting tomorrow, November 15, with support from RL Grime, Alison Wonderland, NGHTMRE B2B Dimension, and many more. He’ll also helm Cyclops takeover events in Florida and Minneapolis in December and February, respectively.
