Apple Adds New 24/7 Electronic Station, Apple Music Club, To Radio Offerings

Apple Music Club

Apple is doubling down on dance music with the launch of its new Apple Music radio station, Apple Music Club.

Launched on the streaming platform yesterday, with Inner City’s “Big Fun” as its inaugural tune, the new 24/7 channel is entirely dedicated to electronic music. And with guest mixes from the world’s most foundational and forward-thinking DJs broadcast around the clock, the party never has to end.

Apple Music Club’s Initial programming, announced yesterday, includes exclusive sets from house legend Honey Dijon, renowned indie-dance producer Jamie xx, avant-garde sensation FKA twigs, and acclaimed jungle revivalist Nia Archives, among others, plus mixes curated by dance music brands like Tomorrowland, Circoloco, Hï Ibiza, fabric, and the Warehouse Project.

Channel hosts Tim Sweeney, who also hosts Beats In Space on the platform, and London’s Hooversound label co-founder NAINA, will guide listeners through each mix, covering a range of sounds from the festival circuit to the underground, according to Apple. They’ll also be available for playback after the broadcast.

Apple Music Club now joins the platform’s existing Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits, and Apple Music Country stations, along with two more new channels, Apple Music Chill and Apple Música Uno.

Apple Music Chill offers an uninterrupted refuge of ambient and downtempo listening with shows helmed by Brian Eno, Stephan Moccio, and Zane Lowe, while Latin station Apple Música Uno will spotlight reggaetón, cumbia, and Latin pop with host Becky G.

Listeners can access Apple Music Radio for free on Apple devices or online at music.apple.com. No subscription is required.
