Viral UK talent Badger is heading across the pond this spring for his debut North American tour.
After conquering the British rave scene with his oddball UK garage, bassline, and jungle remixes, and achieving global fame last year with his viral edit of Natasha Bedingfield’s “These Words,” the DJ and producer—real name Alex Goodger-Marsh—announced the 11-date run on social media today.
Badger’s whirlwind stateside premiere will kick off with an appearance at Chilifest in Snook, Texas, near College Station, on April 4. He’ll then hit cities such as Toronto, Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C., Denver, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and San Francisco through April 26. Two more dates will be announced in the coming months.
“2025 looking very very exciting already,” Badger wrote on Instagram today. “Mad grateful to get to bring my own weird flavour of UKG to the states. Thank you & big love, uncle badge xxx.”
The milestone tour announcement sees Badger emerge as yet another face at the forefront of a recent UK garage revival taking hold in North America. Along with productions from Sammy Virji, MPH, and others last year, Badger’s aforementioned “These Words” rework caught fire with global audiences on TikTok and Spotify, to the tune of more than 150 million streams to date.
A bevy of other dubs have seen the Bristol-based artist put his spin on everything from the Rugrats theme to Rusted Root, and his official releases, including collaborations with AC Slater and Icona Pop and remixes for the likes of Vengaboys and BL3SS, have done bits in his fun-loving performances from Parklife to Glastonbury.
