Armin van Buuren’s A State Of Trance (ASOT) festival has unveiled the first lineup phase for its return to London this summer.
The famous trance and progressive label and events brand make its way back to the British capital on July 13, partnering with Insomniac Europe, Broadwick Live, and Louder to bring an open-air trance showcase to the docks of London’s Silverworks Island, where its sold-out debut UK show took place was held in 2023.
Alongside a headline set from ASOT co-founder and trance legend Armin van Buuren, the event will feature next-gen trance star Ben Hemsley, Ben Nicky’s “Emotional Havoc” show, and a huge class of established and emerging DJs: Cosmic Gate, John O’Callaghan, HI-LO, MaRLo, Omiki, Hannah Laing, Matty Ralph, and ASOT co-founder Ruben de Ronde.
The show will mark ASOT’s only UK show of the year, with over 15 more artists to be added to the lineup before summer. Check out the official announcement below.
Before the ASOT returns to the banks of the Thames, the brand will host its flagship festival in Rotterdam next weekend with two days of programming, including a special B2B from Van Buuren, who will mix with Ben Hemsley, ARTBAT, and Maddix throughout the five-hour set. He’ll play “face-to-face” with Maddix, and also go B2B with Adam Beyer for the first time ever.
Launched by Van Buuren and De Ronde in 2001, ASOT began as a weekly radio show spotlighting the best in trance. Its namesake festival soon followed and has grown to become a cherished pilgrimage for trace fans worldwide.
