Breakaway has unveiled the lineup for its debut festival in Alabama.
The nation’s leading touring electronic festival will head to Huntsville this October 3-4, hosting two days of music from nearly 20 top touring DJs across three stages at the Orion Amphitheater & Apollo Park.
Breakaway Alabama’s premiere will feature headline performances from huge EDM names, including multi-platinum duo The Chainsmokers, house icon Kaskade, melodic bass favorites SLANDER, and NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal—throwing down dubstep as DJ Diesel.
Other highlights include heavy bass favorites like Mersiv, Kompany, and LEVEL UP, party-starting house artists Matroda, Ship Wrek, and Snakehips, and G-house and bassline purveyors Dr. Fresch and Mary Droppinz, among others. They’ll be joined by Huntsville area locals 2Checks, Lykwid, MACDIZZY, Mollywater, and Rocco. Check out the full lineup below.
Breakaway Alabama attendees can also expect a selection of food and beverage offerings, on-site activations, two primary stages, and a silent disco. Nightly festival afterparties will be announced in the coming weeks.
Since its inception in 2016 as a one-stage event in Columbus, Ohio, Breakaway has scaled up to become the U.S. dance circuit’s foremost touring festival, expanding its reach to many cities traditionally overlooked by major festivals, and giving fans in these cities a chance to catch renowned talent they might otherwise miss. This year alone, they’ve also added new events in Dallas, Arizona, Atlanta, and Philadelphia.
