Two of electronic music’s most lauded luminaries are going on tour together, as The Prodigy have announced Carl Cox as the special guest for the band’s upcoming tour of the UK and Ireland.
Though hailing from two different corners electronic music—Cox, a techno legend, and The Prodigy, a pioneering drum & bass live act—the fellow British heavyweights and 1990s dance icons will play at nine arenas across ten dates in April 2026, including shows in Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bournemouth Leeds, and Belfast, plus a two-night run at London’s OVO Arena.
Ahead of The Prodigy’s headline set on each date, Cox will deliver one of his famous two-hour, three-deck, vinyl DJ sets, in which he plans to blend classic hardcore rave tracks with present-day sounds, according to a press release. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
“I love working with these guys, and it’s such a long time since I have,” Cox said in a statement. “They knew me that last time I was out playing three turntables, and the type of music I was playing was hardcore rave music, so that’s what I’m going to be doing: playing that sort of sound and into the new skool. I’m really looking forward to it, so here we are, Carl Cox and The Prodigy, back again to rip up the dance floors.”
The Prodigy frontman Liam Howlett added: “We’re bringin back that full experience of non-stop noise and beats from doors to getting chucked out. It will be that full Prodigy ruckus as it was then and how it continues to be now.
“We’ve got our old friend Carl joining us, so expect full attack mode,” he continued.
General on-sale for The Prodigy plus special guest Carl Cox begins this Friday, June 27, at 9AM BST (4AM ET). For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
