Disclosure’s Guy Lawrence has launched his new record label, Friends & Family.
Born out of his globetrotting club night of the same name, the artist—one-half of the Grammy-nominated house duo with his brother Howard—announced the new imprint on social media today.
“To go alongside the Friends & Family events I’ve been doing the last few years, I want the label to serve primarily as a platform for new upcoming artists; the kind of thing I wish I had when I was starting out,” Lawrence wrote on Instagram.
He went on to confirm that the label’s inaugural release is coming soon, along with more records and more parties.
Friends & Family was born in December 2023, when Guy, who helms most of Disclosure’s touring DJ sets, professed his love for playing “smaller, sweaty clubs” and invited Green Velvet, DJ Tennis, TSHA, and more to play a night of intimate sets at Miami’s famous Club Space.
Since then, he’s taken the party concept global, building B2B lineups full of rising stars, like Sammy Virji, salute, and more, at events in cities such as Amsterdam, Berlin, Manchester, Chicago, and Montreal.
