The nation’s top touring electronic festival is back for its second edition in the Lone Star State on April 10-11, returning to Fair Park with performances from over 20 leading DJs, set to unfold across two stages and a silent disco in the shadow of the city’s famous Cotton Bowl stadium.
From beats by Disclosure, FISHER, Eli Brown, LYNY, and Lilly Palmer, to delicious bites, kick-off parties, and late-night shows, there’s plenty happening at the festival and across the city for Breakaway weekend. Read on for the full rundown.

Start early
Breakaway Dallas is two weeks away, but the music is already pumping. Across Dallas and the region, festival organizers have partnered with local promoters and venues for nearly a dozen official pre-parties, from live DJ workout classes and coffee shop listening to local artist showcases. Plus, with on-site giveaways at each event, fans can enter for a chance to secure free festival tickets.
The run continues in Dallas-Ft. Worth this weekend with a headline set from Scottish progressive artist Grum at Puzzles Deep Ellum on March 27; a “House Blend” coffee and cocktails party at Pinkies and DNB Sessions at Ruby Room on March 28; and a no-phones event with Afties, Tres Falcons, Mal Blanc, and more at La Chingona on March 29. Breakaway will also link up with Next Level Events for an Oklahoma City pre-party at Yours Truly Uptown on March 28.
Next weekend, the party pops up in Denton for an indoor-outdoor show with Freq Club at Public House on April 2, and at Dallas’ stylish Hampton House and a free workout class with live DJs at the F45 Training Arena on April 4. Fans can sign up for morning classes at 8:30AM, 9:45AM, and 11AM.
