Riordan & Bushbaby Join Forces On New Collab, “Strong Rhyme”

Riordan and Bushbaby have teamed up to drop their new collab, “Strong Rhyme.”

The bouncy, ‘90s-tinged house track arrives today via Safelight Records as the first official studio partnership from the pair of quickly emerging house and garage heavyweights from the UK’s south coast.

Tapping into the minimal sounds of the moment in an energetic mix of old-school rap vocals, shuffled drums, deep basslines, and synth stabs, the percussive club tune is already making waves after Riordan’s return to Miami Music Week last week, where the producer and DJ spun B2B with follow 4/4 sensation Silva Bumpa for his debut “Riordan Selects” party at Floyd, played at Selva, and made an anticipated appearance at Factory Town.

The single also lands a week before Riordan’s Coachella debut. After timing the release of his breakout 2025 track, “TWOSTEP,” with his Do LaB appearance last year, “Strong Rhyme” is set for a boost of its own when the eyes and ears of the music world turn to the desert during his first slot on the main lineup next weekend.

Meanwhile, across the pond, Bushbaby continues to blaze a trail as one of the UK underground’s foremost garage artists, known for his raw, rave-influenced hits like “Pumpin Jumpin” and “Breaka Breaka,” as well as his central role in Brighton’s influential bass collective, Southpoint.
