EAZYBAKED are having the summer of their lives.
A decade in the making, the pair of Florida-based dubstep dynamos and lifelong best buds have elevated their game from underground cult favorites to two of the most influential selectors shaping this generation of bass.
Two years ago, they were playing a daytime set at Electric Forest when they dropped their then-unreleased breakout track “Certified,” with MontyCler, and put the entire dubstep scene on notice. Now, after crossing EDC Las Vegas off the bucket list, they’re preparing red-hot new IDs for their biggest run yet, with major stops at Bonnaroo, Apocalypse Zombieland, and Shambhala, and a co-headline tour with fellow dubstep don Distinct Motive, while stepping into a new role as event curators after wrapping up the second edition of their artist-led event, The Bake Out.
EDM Maniac sat down with the dynamic duo of Eric Ray and Andrew Principe at EDC Las Vegas 2026 to get the scoop on their evolving place in the world of bass.
EDM Maniac: You’re here making your EDC debut. How does it feel to be here?
Eric: It feels incredible. It’s crazy to be playing a festival of this caliber and playing our sounds here. Walking around, there’s just so much shit happening everywhere.
Andrew: This is all of our first times here, so everything is really sick.
Eric: It’s huge. It’s big. Crowd was great. It’s amazing.
EDM Maniac: On the opposite end of the spectrum, you’re fresh off a really special grassroots festival gig at Infrasound in Minnesota. What was that experience like? And what is it like to go from a small festival like that to the scale of EDC?
Eric: It’s major. To go from such a condensed, focused group of people, like 5,000 people probably, to a massive 300,000-person event is kind of hard to put into words.
Andrew: We were in the woods. We were in the forest, now we’re in the desert.
Eric: Yeah. And we’re from Florida, so it’s like we’re going from Florida to the woods, and now we’re here in the desert. I have no voice. That’s why that’s gone.
Here, we’re playing for a lot of people that don’t know who EAZYBAKED is, which is such a blessing and so cool. For Infrasound, we’ve played there a few times, and it’s like you said, grassroots and people who are a bit more in tune to what we’re doing. So the energy is different, and it’s kind of hard to put into words. But it’s just really special to be able to experience both.
Andrew: Infrasound is a very tight-knit, cultivated festival, whereas this is like, ‘OK, we’re catering to multiple audiences now.
Eric: Everybody. The way I look at it, it’s like Infrasound is the king of the underground, and this is one of the biggest festivals in the fucking world. So it’s crazy.

EDM Maniac: After hosting the second edition of your curated event, The Bake Out, last month, you’re continuing to shape your own dance floors as well. What was that experience like, and from where do you pull your inspiration as curators?
Eric: First off, it was incredible. It was our second one ever. We went to Denver for the first time, sold out Denver. Then did 1,600 to 1,700 tickets in St. Pete. And we’re from Florida, so that aspect was just really special.
I’d say our inspiration comes from all over. I think one of my biggest inspirations on the curated front is from CharlestheFirst. He was one of the top dogs at that. Rest in peace, legend. Of The Trees really inspires me as well.
Andrew: We’ve been going to shows for a very long time. And we want it to feel curated.
Eric: We have such specific tastes, and I feel like it’s always been our mission to put people on to that taste. It starts from a DJ set, and now we’ve gotten to a point where we can do this and put our friends on and tell this story from a whole show standpoint. It’s just special and potent and really cool.
EDM Maniac: It’s always special when you get to bring the homies along.
Eric: Fuck yeah, that’s the best shit ever.
EDM Maniac: Speaking of homies, you’re headed on tour with Phil (Distinct Motive) for a joint tour next month. Tell us a little bit about that relationship and how you guys decided to come together on that.
Eric: Well, [laughing] Phil’s a shithead. We’re shitheads, so that works really well.
Phil’s a don and has cultivated such a wonderful community that supports his sound and what he does. He’s very authentically himself and I like to pride me and Andrew on doing the same. It kind of happened very naturally.
First of all, we have the same team. Shout out Evan and Steve—fucking gangsters. Second of all, it was just an idea that we had. Phil has a very specific sound, and I like to think that we also do, and they work really well together.
Andrew: There’s a lot of crossover in both of our audiences, too. We felt like this makes sense.
Eric: And we’re working on music together. We’re figuring shit out, and I think the shows are gonna be fucking insane.

EDM Maniac: As you gear up for the summer, what’s next in the release pipeline?
Eric: We have a collab with Richard Finger coming out. June 9 is the target date on SoundCloud specifically.
Andrew: We’ve got a new collab with Montycler.
Eric: We have a new collab with Digital Ethos. We have a new song called “Bump.” We have so much fucking new music in the works right now. It’s gonna be sick.
Andrew: A lot of things coming out this year.
