EXIT’s New Starlight Festival To Bring Charlotte de Witte, Michael Bibi + More To Great Pyramids Of Giza

EXIT Festival

EXIT Festival is bringing a new electronic music festival to the Great Pyramids of Giza this fall.

In partnership with Venture Lifestyle and its electronic music platform P+US, EXIT’s Starlight Festival will touch down in Giza, Egypt, on October 9-10, with additional welcome and farewell parties due to be held in Cairo on October 8 and October 11.

The lineup is led by Belgian techno force Charlotte de Witte, set to make her first appearance in Egypt, alongside UK tech house icon and Solid Grooves boss Michael Bibi, making his own debut in front of the pyramids. Swiss duo Adriatique will also return to the historic setting after drawing nearly 10,000 attendees to a show on their last trip to Giza.

Unfolding across more than five stages and “experience zones,” alongside immersive VR experiences, the lineup continues with Vintage Culture, Pete Tong, WhoMadeWho, Enrico Sangiuliano, and dozens more international and regional acts. SWIPE to see the full lineup.

Unlike previous Giza pyramid events, the festival won’t be held directly on the UNESCO World Heritage site, but the pyramids will still serve as an iconic backdrop from a designated event location developed in accordance with the area’s historical significance and preservation requirements.

Starlight Festival comes as one of several touring festivals from EXIT this year, after the long-running festival announced it would leave its lifelong home at Serbia’s Petrovaradin Fortress due to “financial and political pressures” from the country’s government over the festival’s support of student protests. EXIT will also host events in Malta, Croatia, North Macedonia, and India.
