Beyond Wonderland Midwest Announces New Name, New Location & 2027 Dates

Beyond Wonderland Midwest

Beyond Wonderland Chicago is now Beyond Wonderland Midwest.

At the conclusion of the festival’s 2026 edition at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, Insomniac Events announced that next year’s event will change names and move to the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois. Taking place from June 10-13, 2027, Beyond Wonderland Midwest will expand into a four-day music, arts, and camping experience with extended festival hours until 2AM.

Camping will be available on-site for the first time, including car and RV options. The campgrounds will also host additional programming and community-focused activities designed to extend the experience beyond the festival grounds. The venue itself carries a piece of Insomniac history, having previously hosted EDC Chicago in 2013.

The move ushers in a new era for the beloved Alice in Wonderland-inspired festival. With significantly more space at Chicagoland Speedway, attendees can expect larger-scale stage production, expanded immersive attractions, extended festival hours, and more room to frolic in Insomniac’s whimsical Wonderland universe.

The announcement arrives shortly after Beyond Wonderland Chicago wrapped up its 2026 edition, which featured performances from ACRAZE B2B Wax Motif, Alan Walker, DJ Snake, Excision, Green Velvet, Layton Giordani, Tiƫsto, Zedd, Zeds Dead, and more.

Tickets for Beyond Wonderland Midwest 2027 go on sale this Thursday, June 18, at 12PM CT. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit midwest.beyondwonderland.com.
