Festival season hits the Twin Cities this weekend, and we’ve got you covered with all the essential info for Breakaway Minnesota 2026.
For the sixth stop on its nationwide summer run, the touring electronic festival returns to the Allianz Field Festival Grounds in St. Paul on June 26-27, marking its third edition in Minnesota with performances from over 20 leading dance DJs, unfolding across two stages and a silent disco in the shadow of Minnesota United’s home stadium.
From sets by EDM icons Zedd, Subtronics, Gryffin, Knock2, and Levity to good food, community workouts, pre-parties, and afters, there’s lots happening at the festival and across the city for Breakaway weekend. Read on for the full rundown.

Start early
Breakaway Minnesota is days away, but the music is already flowing. After organizers partnered with local promoters and venues for several festival-backed pre-parties across the region in recent weeks, there’s one event left to get you right for festival weekend.
Presented by Bacardi, Breakaway Minnesota’s Neighborhood Afters gets the party started a day early with a free show from Los Angeles-based house duo NIIKO X SWAE, taking over the Roseville Applebee’s with a bit of pop-up madness on Thursday, June, 25. RSVP is available here.
Getting there
Situated between downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul, just down the road from the University of Minnesota and a 20-minute drive from MSP International Airport, Breakaway’s centrally located festival site outside Allianz Field gives dance music fans across the metro area the chance to catch some of the world’s biggest electronic acts in their backyard.
Those traveling can book a headache-free stay with exclusive rates at one of 40 partner hotels through Breakaway’s 2026 Travel Packages. Fans can bundle their ticket and hotel purchases for additional savings. For more information, visit breakawayfestival.com.

Fuel up
On site at the festival, Breakaway Minnesota hosts plenty of food and beverage vendors serving hot food, cold drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages, including branded activations and freebies from Celsius, White Claw, BeatBox, Jack Daniel’s, Hiyo, and Jimmy John’s. But to ensure you’re fueled before and after the party, there are plenty of local restaurants and bars where fans can grab a bite or sip a pre-fest cocktail.
Alongside award winning fine-dining at Bûcheron and Diane’s Place, visitors can grab renowned Southeast Asian street food at Gai Noi or Hai Hai, or check out neighborhood staples like Pizzeria Lola, Kramarczuk’s Sausage Company, and The Market at Malcom Yards for a variety of bites. For a drink, there’s no need to look further than the University of Minnesota’s sprawling campus area or downtown Minneapolis.
Get Active
Before heading into the event on day two, festivalgoers are invited to join the Breakaway Run Club for a three-mile run with the community on Saturday, June 27. The run begins at Glass House (145 Holden St. N) at 9:30AM and finishes back at the event space with a recovery kickback with DJs, cold plunges, coffee, and giveaways from Celsius and other brands. All paces are welcome. RSVP is available here.

Bust a move
Breakaway Minnesota’s third round features another dynamic lineup of top dance talent to keep you moving from doors until the fireworks fly. Unfolding across two primary stages, this year’s bill is led by global stars Zedd, Subtronics, Gryffin, Knock2, and Levity, bass favorites like Adventure Club, ALLEYCVT, Sub Focus, AVELLO, Dennett, and Malaa’s “Alter Ego,” and innovators in house, garage, and techno, such as MPH, D.O.D, Angrybaby, Wuki, Roddy Lima, Luke Alexander, SHIMA, and more.
Eddie Adams, EVOL, and Neeks N Brandt make up this year’s local support on the main lineup, while the festival’s Jimmy John’s silent disco serves up sandwiches and beats by additional area talent. Check out the full lineup below.
