The Desert Hearts crew just couldn’t sit this festival season out.
After announcing that its flagship festival would go on hiatus in 2026, the beloved house and techno outfit unveiled plans yesterday for a new scaled-back festival experience coming to Northern California this fall.
“Intimate by design,” according to organizers, Desert Hearts Microfest will debut at Deloro Valley, a private outdoor event venue roughly 50 miles west of Yosemite National Park, from October 1-5. After hosting two editions of Desert Hearts Festival in Flagstaff, the Microfest will mark the party outfit’s first festival in its home state of California since 2023.
“After two unforgettable years in Arizona, we planned to take this year off from producing a Desert Hearts Festival,” organizers wrote on Instagram. “Then we discovered Deloro Valley. The moment we stepped onto this beautiful property in Northern California, we knew we couldn’t wait another year to gather with our Desert Hearts Family.”
With a significantly reduced crowd capacity and on-site camping, including tents, cabins, lodges, and private homes throughout the former summer camp property, the event promises “a rare chance to experience the Desert Hearts community in close proximity.” Check out more details in the post below.
Pre-sale registration is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access begins tomorrow, Thursday, July 9, at 10AM PT. Tickets are intentionally limited.
