M3F just unveiled its 2027 lineup.
The long-running festival is back in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, for its 24th edition on March 5-6, returning to Steele Indian School Park with another deeply curated lineup of over 25 live music performances at the intersection of electronic, alternative, and indie.
Building on the music-first ethos that has been the festival’s signature since it was founded as McDowell Mountain Music Festival in 2004, this year’s bill invites headline sets from stars of each of the festival’s signature genre corners. FISHER and Disco Lines lead the dance music cohort with their chart-topping house hits alongside UK garage don Sammy Virji, while sets from alt-hip-hop and R&B favorite Joji, star “Messy” singer Lola Young, and hyperpop sensation Jane Remover offer an eclectic range of in-demand sounds.
In the support slots, more dancey electronic beats come from jet-setting Abracadabra label boss BLOND:ISH, Eurodance and trance duo DJ Heartstring, viral stutter house artist Ian Asher, and “Actin’ Tough” breakout Dean Turnley, alongside an anticipated slate of instrumental acts such as New Zealand alt-rockers Balu Brigada, legendary bassist Thundercat, and emerging favorites like Gelli Haha, BETWEEN FRIENDS, Oxis, and Roi Turbo.

Founded as a nonprofit event, M3F continues to support Arizona communities with its charitable M3F Fund, founded in 2023. This year, the festival’s new “Community Project,” will host a series of year-round programs centered around art, music, and community, including Art Lab, a free after-school program giving young creatives access educational opportunities in music, production design, video and photography.
