Anyma & Volkoder Kick Off First ÆDEN Records Comp With “Other Dimension”

Anyma has teamed up with Volkoder to release their new single, “Other Dimension.”

Out today, the percussive techno cut arrives on Anyma’s own ÆDEN Records as the first track off the newly minted imprint’s forthcoming compilation, ÆDEN: Digital Renaissance Vol. I, fusing the Italian heavyweight’s signature cinematic sounds and textures with deep and punchy beats from one of Brazil’s most closely watched genre talents.

Meant to serve as a mixtape snapshot of Anyma’s second consecutive season-long residency at [UNVRS] in Ibiza, the full compilation, due out in late August, will feature productions from Anyma and other leading melodic techno artists such as Kevin De Vries, Argy, Goom Gum, and Massano, according to a press release.

“Building a community of artists and creatives has always been an important goal for my artistic path,” Anyma said in a statement. “Inspiration and innovation are meant to be shared, and I strongly believe that creatives supporting each other are able to go much further in the search for self-expression, purpose, and legacy. Past, present, and future come together in this new project.”

Marked by the oft-sampled line from Ultramagnetic MCs’ 1988 track “Critical Beatdown,” “Other Dimension” is Anyma’s first release since he dropped “Bad Angel” with LISA back in April.
