Book Club Radio just dropped the lineup for its second annual festival.
The curated weekender from New York City’s “dance party disguised as a book club” is back in Brooklyn on October 2-3. Nearly 20 renowned underground house and techno DJs will descend on neighboring venues SILO and Brooklyn Roots Collective for this year’s extraterrestrial-themed edition, “Outer Rim.”
Alongside performances from Book Club Radio’s sibling co-founders Tinzo and Jojo Lorenzo, the no-phones event features Chicago house legend Mark Farina, fellow Windy City staple Hiroko Yamamura, Brooklyn-born Chicago house icon DJ Heather, esteemed leftfield selector Machinedrum, and transatlantic club heavyweight Nikki Nair, as well as anticipated showings from twin house duo Raecola, distinguished Canadian selector Jex Opolis, and Denver deep house favorite Öohna Dahl.
The roster continues with Baltimore-based disco house artist Fibre, Alabama-hailing house DJ Byron The Aquarius, British Columbia’s Regularfantasy, heralded Australian selector Willo, and NYC-based artists such as Toribio, Varist, ZAINAB, the Soul Summit collective, and ballroom scene icon Mike Q. Check out the lineup below.
Last year’s inaugural Book Club Radio Festival transformed Brooklyn’s Industry City event complex into a three-ring circus of house music delights and immersive art. Since Book Club Radio’s themed, invite-only parties began in 2023, the event series and its recorded DJ mixes have grown to become one of the city’s favorite grassroots music gatherings and one of YouTube’s leading electronic music channels.
