Secret Dreams Returns With Top Experimental Bass Names Next Month

Secret Dreams

The Secret’s out: Secret Dreams is back next month with performances from the biggest names in low-end dubstep and experimental bass.

The four-night music campout makes its way to a new venue at The Cardinal Center, outside Columbus, Ohio, on Labor Day weekend, hosting two headline performances from glitch-hop hero Pretty Lights, plus sets by fellow bass favorites Of The Trees, Tape B, Daily Bread, and INZO, as well as the live debut of Jade Cicada and Schmoop’s Wonky Llama project, from September 3-6. Tape B will deliver a sunset performance, while INZO and Daily Bread are slated for two sets each.

Continuing the festival’s penchant for uniting bass, psychedelic electronic music, jam, and funk under one banner, the lineup expands with more double-headers from Detox Unit, Lettuce, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, alongside anticipated appearances from Gramatik, Opiuo, Mickman, and alt-hip-hop favorites EARTHGANG.

Other unique highlights include Chalk Dinosaur, Chmura, Cool Customer, Flamingosis, Parkbreezy, Maddy O’Neal, pheel., SunSqaubi, and The Sponges, as well as a live band performance from Thought Process, an IDM set from renowned producer Mr. Bill, and a collaborative set from Late Night Radio B2B Artifakts.

Check out the full lineup below.

Widely regarded as a crown jewel of the Midwest’s summer festival circuit, Secret Dreams will feature its largest lineup ever this year, unfolding across three stages with late-night performances, art installations, yoga, wellness workshops, and other activities.
