ARC Music Festival just announced its massive run of city-wide afterparties.
When the mammoth house and techno festival returns to Chicago’s Union Park on Labor Day weekend, ARC After Dark will keep the party pumping with nightly afters at 10 venues across the city from September 3-7.
The run opens with late-night takeovers from Sara Landry’s HEKATE Records and Hot Meal at Serum, Azzecca at Castaways, and Luke Dean at Spybar on Thursday, September 3, before the calendar kicks into high gear at seven more locations throughout the weekend.
Friday highlights include Chris Stassy and Silva Bumpa at Radius, Chase & Status at Cermak Hall, Max Dean and Tommy Phillips at Concord Music Hall, MEDUZA at Serum, and Tiga and Ben UFO at Metro, while underground favorites such as Joy Orbison, Pegassi, camoufly, and Brunello take Smartbar, Smoke & Mirrors, Outset, and Spybar, respectively.
Saturday night is led by Mau P, Paco Osuna, and Obskür at Radius, with high-octane techno from 999999999, Dax J, and I Hate Models next door at Cermak Hall. Elsewhere across the city, fans can catch salute, Derrick Carter, Cloonee, Luke van Dijk, Omar+, Carl Craig, The Blessed Madonna, and many more.
While Anyma and a B2B from Chris Avantgarde and Kevin De Vries front the bill at Radius on Sunday, the rest of Chicago comes alive with house music from Mochakk, Walker & Royce B2B VNSSA, Beltran, Ben Sterling, Jamback, and Marsolo, alongside rare appearances from UKG standouts like bullet tooth, X CLUB. B2B Sam Alfred, and Club Angel.
Finally, Monday night brings Labor Day sessions from Boys Noize, Adrián Mills, and Fumi to Concord; Carlita, KinAhau, and WhoMadeWho to Serum; DJ Heartstring, Baugruppe90, and Quest to Smoke & Mirrors; and an all-night-long set from Bushbaby at The Lab, among other shows.
