Jeff Sorkowitz has dropped his remix of Arielle Free’s “‘Cause I Can.”
Featuring vocals from award-winning actor-DJ Idris Elba, the deep and squelchy rework of Free’s percussive house cut sees the Brooklyn club staple make his awaited debut on Chris Lake’s Black Book Records today.
Adding to his deep catalog of releases on labels like Deeperfect, Ky William’s Andhera, Insomniac’s IN / ROTATION, and his own Short Circuit imprint, Sorkowitz’s latest arrives amid a red-hot run of studio releases, following “Move Shake,” a track that famously had Carl Cox grooving as he stepped out to play the Château de Chantilly in France this summer.
Sorkowitz’s next upcoming release, “Feel The Same,” also caught the ear of the techno legend, who has been supporting it in his sets alongside fellow heavyweights like CamelPhat and Mau P.
