Sara Landry is keeping things “Interesting” on her new single, out today.
The latest high-speed offering from the hard techno high priestess’ forthcoming sophomore album, Divine Intervention, lands on her own HEKATE Records in a storm of glitchy stabs and screaming synths.
Fusing elements of hardstyle and hard techno in a masterful blend of ravey bits and bobbles, the track traverses a variety of hard dance sounds, punctuated by Landry’s own spoken-word vocals, as she talks through just what the track needs next.
“I really wanted to have some fun with this one, and I did,” Landry said in a statement. “It’s a little edgy and a little cheeky with a whole lot of bass. It’s my kind of different. I didn’t hold back on this one—variety is the spice of life, after all.”
After a pre-festival HEKATE takeover at Serum last night, the Texas-hailing producer and DJ returns to Chicago’s ARC Music Festival tonight for a headline presentation of her “Eternalism” live show.
Divine Intervention is due out on HEKATE Records on October 16.
