CRSSD Festival is just one week away, and San Diego’s house and techno community is in for another thrilling weekend.
The fall edition of local outfit FNGRS CRSSD’s biannual festival returns to Waterfront Park next weekend, September 26-27, bringing dozens of performances from the scene’s leading DJs to the oceanfront venue on the San Diego Bay, along with several other unique experiences that have made the event a beloved tradition for San Diego clubbers.
From sunset appearances by acclaimed selectors to hands-on music exploration and late-night afterparties, there’s plenty in store at CRSSD Fall 2026. Read on for the full rundown.
Beats by the sea
As ever, CRSSD’s roster of world-beating house and techno talent will soundtrack a sun-kissed dancefloor experience just steps from the shimmering San Diego Bay. From daytime rays to stunning sunsets and peak-time darkness, the festival’s sprawling, palm-tree-dotted venue at Waterfront Park is a star of the show alongside the event’s performing talent, which this year marks one of CRSSD’s most anticipated lineups in years.
Showstopping DJs
CRSSD’s fall 2026 bill is topped by Brazilian house icon Mochakk and a rare B2B from UK heavyweights Chris Lake and Disclosure (with Guy Lawrence on the decks), joined by more surging house names like KETTAMA, Prospa, ChaseWest, Layton Giordani, Sonny Fodera, and AYYBO, a B2B from Rossi. and Carlita, Skepta’s Más Tiempo, and a DJ set from ‘90s legends Groove Armada.
On the techno side, it’s a high-speed clinic from Boys Noize, Berlin sensation Marlon Hoffstadt, French hard techno standout I Hate Models, and Italian acid duo 999999999, plus genre queens VTSS and horsegiirL. The sonic palette expands further with underground favorites Ben UFO, Helena Hauff, and Marco Strous, UKG players like MPH, NOTION, Sam Alfred, and salute, “Actin’ Tough” sensation Dean Turnley, and rising indie-electronic live act ear.
Step into the lab
One of the festival’s defining experiences, CRSSD Lab returns this year to give fans hands-on experience with music production technology, such as hardware synths, samplers, and digital audio software. Festivalgoers can attend expert-led workshops and demo cutting-edge products from Roland, Air Music, Moog, Korg, Akai Pro, and AIAIAI Audio.
Meanwhile, selectors can dig through the crates at CRSSD Lab’s pop-up vinyl market to find favorite records, rare pressings, classic tracks, and hidden gems curated by Los Angeles’ Chapter One Records. A full timetable of artist-led panels, industry discussions, and other CRSSD Lab events will be announced in the coming days.
Keep going after dark
After the sun sets and the show ends at Waterfront Park, CRSSD’s official afterparty series, CRSSD After Dark, keeps the party pumping with three nights of music programming in the city’s favorite clubs and intimate venues, including Palms Beach Club, Quartyard, Spin, EQ, 3OZ Dive Club, The Brass Rail, Music Box, Rich’s, and Kiku Room.
Close Friends Only and VTSS open the run on Friday, before Saturday erupts with a daytime show from Marco Strous and late-night sessions with Ben UFO, Dean Turnley, Layton Giordani, AYYBO, Rossi., salute, and many more. Sunday’s afters program is led by The Dare’s “Freakquencies” takeover at Spin, featuring Boys Noize, Helena Hauff, and SEES00000, plus performances from Groove Armada, GENESI, Mathame, and Sam Alfred elsewhere across the city.
