Sammy Virji just surprised fans with a new album.
Earlier today, the UK garage star took to social media and shared a link to a website where fans queued for an online premiere of the new project, Open Late, out now on major streaming platforms.
The online listening party featured a visualizer showing footage of major cities around the globe. In turn, fans have begun speculating whether Virji also has another tour announcement on the horizon.
In addition to highly demanded IDs like “Crazy Funky,” “Light Work,” and “Diggy,” the eight-track album features new collaborations with London-based duo Joy Anonymous alongside Wet, and California-based garage artist Hans Glader on “Letter Blue” and “La Belle,” respectively.
Marking his third album, ‘Open Late’ follows Virji’s acclaimed 2025 LP Same Day Cleaning, and a series of collaborative releases with Fred again.. and Barry Can’t Swim. On the live front, the producer and DJ made his headline debut at Red Rocks last weekend as part of a lengthy North American headline tour that began in July.
After a hometown album pop-up in London today and playing Amsterdam Dance Event this weekend, he’ll return Stateside to close the run in Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, and New Orleans through November 15.
