EDM Maniac is a digital lifestyle publication, marketing agency and events company specializing in Electronic Dance Music, founded in 2012.
Devin Lezama founded EDM Maniac in 2012. Born in New York with roots in Trinidad, Devin understood the power of storytelling and safety on the dance floor. He spent years attending countless dance music events, capturing moments, building relationships and forming a family with people who shared those dance floors with him.
While building EDM Maniac, he worked closely with charities in Trinidad. He was always working; often in silence and always for others.
Over a 14-year journey, EDM Maniac has taken many forms: a Facebook page, an events company, a respected news source and editorial voice, and a globally cherished social media community.
In July 2025, we lost our beloved founder. Though the hole left in our hearts and the industry may never be filled, it has become our team’s purpose to carry on the legacy of what Devin created and stood for: peace, love, unity, respect, responsibility, adventure, curiosity, innovation—and approaching everything you love in life like a true maniac.
He is the heartbeat of our purpose.
