Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance (ASOT) festival is heading back to London.
The world-famous trance and progressive event series will make its way back to the British capital on July 13, 2025, organizers announced on social media last week. In partnership with Insomniac Europe, Broadwick Live and Louder, the open-air event will see ASOT return dockside to London’s Silverworks Island, where it held its sold-out UK debut show in 2023.
In addition to a headline set from ASOT co-founder and trance legend van Buuren, that event featured performances from further heavyweights like Argy, Gareth Emery, MORTEN, Vini Vici, and more. Though the lineup for this year’s showcase is still under wraps, fans can expect another top-notch bill, with the upcoming event set to mark ASOT’s only UK show of 2025.
Before ASOT returns to the banks of the Thames this summer, the brand will host its flagship festival in Rotterdam in February. The two-day event will feature a special five-hour B2B from van Buuren, Ben Hemsley, Maddix, ARTBAT, and several more TBA names, alongside solo sets from Aly & Fila, Andrew Rayel, Ferry Corsten, ASOT co-founder Ruben de Ronde, and more.
Launched by van Buuren and fellow Dutch star de Ronde in 2001, ASOT began as a weekly radio show spotlighting the best in trance. Its namesake festival soon followed and has grown to become a cherished pilgrimage for trace fans worldwide.
