ACRAZE has released his first single of 2024, and it’s a big ‘dill.’
The fan-favorite producer has teamed up with famously masked DJ Pickle and NKY to share “Runny Nose,” which is out now via Thrive Music and Capitol Records.
Featuring high-energy synths delightfully reminiscent of Vengaboys‘ “We Like To Party!,” the punchy new house track is ripe with dancefloor fun, powered by the refrain, “Bassline Boomin, Kickdrum Jumping, Beat so sick like my nose is running.”
“I honestly had the lyrics for ‘Runny Nose’ in my head for the longest time. One day I got sick and I was like, let’s write it since it makes sense,” ACRAZE said in a press release. “I started the record with NKY and then I sent it to Pickle and I love what It turned out to be.”
“Runny Nose” is just the latest in a long line of club-ready bangers from ACRAZE. The Long Island-born, Orlando-raised artist shook up the scene in 2021 with his breakthrough single “Do It To It” and hasn’t looked back since, sharing even more charting hits like “Believe” with Goodboys and an official remix for Sam Smith‘s “Unholy.”
“Runny Nose” follows ACRAZE’s 2023 singles “In A Dream,” “The Otherside” with Paige Cavell, “Take Me Away” and “Heard It Like This.” “Take Me Away” has been nominated for Dance Song of the Year at the 2024 Electronic Dance Music Awards, scheduled to take place during Miami Music Week next month.
ACRAZE’s 2024 world tour is already underway, following performances at EDC Mexico and New York City’s famous Knockdown Center last month. In addition to a new residency with Wynn Nightlife in Las Vegas, he’ll perform at numerous festivals this summer, including Project GLOW, Breakaway and EDC Las Vegas—going B2B with KREAM.
