AIRBEAT ONE Festival Reveals Additional Acts For 2023 Event

Germany’s AIRBEAT ONE Festival, celebrated as one of Europe’s largest and longest-lasting festivals, is marking its 20th anniversary this July with a party in line with its iconic status and two-decade-long history.

The festival has already sold over 30,000 tickets, with the second pre-sale phase sold out. The event also boasts a mainstage lineup filled with dance music giants, including Hardwell, Charlotte de Witte, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Aoki, and more.

The festival will run from July 12-16, 2023, across five stages, with a monstrous mainstage and four other areas to provide attendees with a taste of the other top genres in today’s dance music.

From its humble beginnings as a tight-knit gathering launching in 2001, AIRBEAT ONE has grown into an impressive event with this year’s anniversary festival projected to draw a crowd of about 65,000 people.

The festival’s “Edition Home – Germany” theme pays homage to the country’s musical heritage, inviting local DJs like Marten Horger, Neelix, and Paul Kalkbrenner to provide a proper essence of German culture.

On top of its impressive mainstage, the Arena Stage spotlights techno, while the Terminal Stage showcases electro, tech house, and tropical sounds. The Eagle Stage provides a range of DJs for fans of harder styles, while the Second Stage is set to pop off with 33 acts playing Goa and Psytrance music throughout the event.

A battle with epilepsy could not stop me from finding the rave community or pursuing my passion to write. I was a journalism major at my college writing about sports when my condition took me out of my classes and stuck me in my home to focus on bills and get healthy. Once I got my seizures under control through medication I decided to face my fear of crowds and lasers in order to finally experience house music in festival fashion at Day Trip 2021. I quickly learned that I could continue to rave and manage my condition simultaneously. Then a raver was born! I love house and techno the most, which ironically are the genres that even brought my parents together. The dance music culture and community has connected me with the opportunity to write about my passion, the best of friends, a lover, and good and bad experiences that continue to grow me as a person. I'm based in Southern California let's catch a set!
