Allegiant Air has revealed a special, one-of-a-kind addition to its fleet of planes featuring an Insomniac-themed design and branding.
Allegiant, which has secured its place as the official airline of Live Nation, collaborated with Insomniac to create the plane design “in the spirit of the world’s largest dance music festival: EDC Las Vegas.”
The new design will be displayed on the main body and tail of an Airbus A320, combining signature brand elements and celebrating a strategic partnership that “empowers the airline’s customers to truly live the Nonstop Life.”
In a press release, Allegiant said that the new design arrives as demand for live events is at an all-time high, citing statements from many customers across their network who say concerts and festivals motivate their travel planning.
Allegiant’s Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Scott DeAngelo said, “We are thrilled to announce this special livery, perfectly timed as fans fly to Las Vegas this week for the Electric Daisy Carnival festival.”
“In order to become the most influential and forward-thinking leisure airline, Allegiant partners with prestigious, successful brands with national reach,” DeAngelo said.
The design will include splashes of pink, purple, and orange on Allegiant’s ribbon that encircles the plane, as well as Insomniac and EDC’s widely-recognized logos.
Insomniac is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, having produced over 10,000 concerts and festivals since its inception in 1993.
The Insomniac-themed plane will continue to carry passengers to destinations across Allegiant’s network even after the conclusion of EDC Las Vegas this weekend.
