ALLEYCVT & Levity Drop Debut Collaborative Single, “One For You”

ALLEYCVT Levity

Next-gen bass phenoms ALLEYCVT and Levity have dropped their debut collaborative single, “One For You,” on Deadbeats.

The under-the-radar bass anthem arrives today on Zeds Dead’s label, and sees two of the scene’s fastest-rising bass acts come together in a fan-coveted collaboration following their respective breakthrough solo exploits, such as Levity’s viral wobbler, “Flip It,” and its follow-up, “Front to Back,” and ALLEYCVT’s self-released “RELIGION” and “BACK2LIFE.”

Part emotionally driven electro-dubstep, part wobbly low-end space bass, “One For You” pairs ALLEYCVT’s polished sound design and sultry vocals with Levity’s proclivity for raw and delightfully off-kilter sine bass frequencies, demonstrating the foursome’s chemistry in the studio.

Their collaborative prowess in the booth is also turning heads. Anticipation for the track’s release has been building since ALLEYCVT and Levity premiered it in their first-ever back-to-back set at the Deadbeats x Cyclops Recordings show during Miami Music Week last March.

Since then, both acts have continued to captivate crowds across the country in their sold-out solo shows and festival appearances. They’ve also linked up with experimental bass music’s best in high-profile B2B sets with Wooli, Big Gigantic, Zingara, and LYNY, on the road to performing together again at Deadbeats NYC later this month.

ALLEYCVT and Levity are both slated to appear at Excision’s famous Lost Lands this September. Levity’s upcoming run of gigs includes further festival appearances at events like HARD Summer, Liquid Stranger’s WAKAAN Music Festival, and Hulaween, while ALLEYCVT will hit the road this fall for her 34-date “FEEL IT Tour,” which rolls through San Francisco, Toronto, New York, and more.
