Amelie Lens’ EXHALE Announces 14-Track Compilation Album

Amelie Lens

Amelie LensEXHALE label has announced a new various artists compilation landing this month.

EXHALE VA005 is slated for release on July 26 and sees the Belgian techno icon curate a collection of 13 tracks from artists like Alex Farrell, Farrago, NOVAH, BYØRN, Chemtrailz, and more, alongside her own new single “Underneath the Strobelights.”

The compilation is said to “dip its toe into a myriad of genres,” according to EXHALE, including nods to pystrance, breakbeat, hardstyle, classical, and drum & bass, “across thirteen freakishly heavy dancefloor-primed stompers.” Check out the full tracklist below.

“EXHALE has always championed the future sounds of techno & we are back again with 16 artists and 16 blends of emotions and energy have resulted in 14 unique songs ready to make us feel,” the label wrote on Instagram yesterday.

“Underneath the Strobelights” will mark Lens’ second release of 2024, following the launch of her atmospheric techno heater, “Breathe,” on EXHALE in March, and other previously shared singles, “You And Me” and “Feel It.”

Following a first-ever South American tour last spring and major festival performances at Glastonbury, Galactica Festival, and Awakenings this summer, Lens will return to Belgium to play both weekends of Tomorrowland this month before bringing two “all night long” shows to New York City and Los Angeles this fall.
