AMF has announced Martin Garrix as its first headliner for the stadium extravaganza’s 2024 edition.
The Dutch DJ and producer, world-famous for hits like “Animals,” “In the Name of Love” and “Scared to Be Lonely,” will return to perform for a sixth time on AMF’s grand stage at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Since its debut in 2013, AMF has been the crown jewel of the week-long Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) circuit, hosting tens of thousands of fans each year at the climax of dance music’s foremost industry conference.
Another 40,000 are expected to pack the house to see Garrix and a world-class lineup of electronic artists—including another as-yet-unannounced Dutch legend.
With additional names to be revealed in the coming months, last year’s AMF lineup—featuring Charlotte de Witte, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, James Hype, MEDUZA, and more—speaks to the caliber of talent fans can expect at the festival’s upcoming 12th edition.
This year’s festival will also mark a momentous debut for Insomniac Europe, a new independent European division of the United States’ paramount dance music promoter, and the hosts of AMF 2024.
Though previous editions of the festival have been produced by Insomniac’s European partners, this year’s equally massive undertaking will kick off the new Insomniac department’s quest for growth across the European continent, backed by the stateside group’s industry-leading expertise.
