Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has unveiled the dates for the conference’s 2025 edition.
After the week-long festival’s 2024 edition came to a close last weekend, organizers have today announced that ADE will return to the Dutch capital on October 22-26, 2025, marking the 30th edition of electronic dance music’s foremost industry gathering.
ADE’s 30th anniversary program will also coincide with the final week of Amsterdam 750, a year-long celebration of the city’s 750-year anniversary set to kick off this weekend, building up to Amsterdam’s actual birthday on October 27, 2025, with special events throughout.
“After the conclusion of one of ADE’s most memorable editions to date, which primarily showcased a broadened conference and festival program as well as its renewed artistic direction under the Arts & Culture umbrella, the ADE team are excited to look forward to ADE 2025,” organizers said in a statement.
Performance highlights at ADE 2024 included Afterlife and Tomorrowland‘s joint two-night showcase at the city’s famous Ziggo Dome, a return performance from techno talent KI/KI at Amsterdam’s former prison, De Bajes, and beloved staple events like AMF’s yearly massive at the Johan Cruijff ArenA and Awakenings‘ annual return to Amsterdam’s famous Gashouder featuring performances from Marlon Hoffstadt, Adam Beyer, Four Tet, and more.
Meanwhile, the festival’s 2024 ADE Pro conference program featured panel discussions and events from over 600 speakers, including artists like Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte, Marlon Hoffstadt, Reinier Zonneveld, Martin Garrix, Mau P, Indira Paganotto, and many more.
The last 29 years have seen Amsterdam Dance Event grow into the world’s largest and one of the most influential club-based gatherings for electronic music. Taking place across over 200 city-wide venues, the festival’s annual bill features performances from over 2,900 artists at more than 1,000 events in five days.
