Anyma Sets Release Date For ‘Genesys Part II’

Tale Of Us’ Matteo Milleri has announced that Genesys Part II, the second full-length album from his solo project Anyma, will be released Friday, March 29, 2024.

During his set at last weekend’s Afterlife tour stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the melodic techno icon gave fans a sneak peek of the new project and its spellbinding robot visuals before a scrolling on-screen message unveiled the album’s complete tracklist.

A much-anticipated follow-up to Anyma’s 2023 debut solo album Genesys, the double-sided LP spans 22 tracks, including new Genesys Part II titles like “Sacrifice” with PARISI, “Now Or Never” and “Simulation” with Chris Avantgarde. Other notable collaborators include Argy, Rebūke, Adam Sellouk, and more.

In addition to 11 new original tracks, Genesys Part II will also feature new remixes of tracks from Anyma’s previous Genesys album, including an Adriatique remix of “Welcome To The Opera,” a Massano remix of “Eternity” and a Kevin de Vries remix of “The Sign.” Additional remixers who have lent their skills include Cassian, Eric Prydz, Amelie Lens, Kölsch, Kobosil, and more.

First dreamed up as a live performance concept by Milleri and visual art director Alessio De Vecchi during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Anyma project explores the coexistence of themes such as technology, nature, and humanity.

Alongside fellow Tale Of Us member Carmine Conte’s MRAK alias, Anyma has been a staple of Tale Of Us’ touring Afterlife label showcase throughout the last year, with its global success helping to drive melodic techno’s explosive popularity even further.
