Anyma To Become First Electronic Act To Headline Las Vegas’ MSG Sphere

Anyma

Anyma is set to be the first electronic act to headline Las Vegas’ famous MSG Sphere.

The melodic techno artist, Afterlife co-founder, and one-half of Tale Of Us—real name Matteo Milleri—will present a special “The End of Genesys” show at the high-tech, multi-billion dollar venue on December 31, 2024.

Rumors of the show first surfaced yesterday when Anyma posted a teaser video to social media. Captioned “THE END OF GENESYS,” the video shows him standing in a desert, face-to-face with the robot made famous in his visually stunning live performances, while a structure resembling the Sphere can be seen in the background.

After a 24-hour social media buzz, organizers have now confirmed the landmark show. Though he won’t technically be the first DJ to perform at the venue—French actress-DJ Ella Balinska played the Sphere in June—the Italian producer and DJ will be the first electronic act to headline the venue, which has hosted huge residency shows from U2 and Dead & Company since opening last September. The event will also be the first New Year’s Eve performance at the Sphere.

Alongside a lineup of special guest performances curated by the artist and Afterlife, Anyma will present the final edition of his coveted “Genesys” audiovisual show, closing the musical era marked by his acclaimed debut and sophomore solo albums, Genesys and Genesys II.

“Fans can expect a sensory-expanding mix of innovative visuals and sounds that defy the boundaries of what’s possible,” according to organizers, at the show, which will marry Anyma and Afterlife’s signature production with the $2.3 billion venue’s next-generation technologies, including its famous 580,000-square foot LED display and HOLOPLOT-powered advanced audio system.

Pre-sale registration for Anyma presents “The End of Genesys” at The Sphere is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access will begin on Monday, July 22 at 9AM PT. General on-sale will follow on Tuesday, July 23 at 9AM PT.
