ARC Music Festival Drops Extensive Afterparty Lineup With Five Days Of Events

One of house and techno’s premier US festivals, ARC Music Festival, just dropped the schedule for the ARC After Dark afterparties featuring high-profile events that rival the festival itself.

The afterparties will take place across iconic Chicago venues like RADIUS, Concord Music Hall, PRYSM, Spybar, Smart Bar/Metro, Smoke & Mirrors, and more for an extra dose of historic electronic music.

The after-shows will take place all three days of the festival, September 1-3, plus additional kickoff and send-off events on Thursday and Monday.

The festivities begin with a Smoke & Mirrors pre-party presented by the celebrated female-empowering organization Lady Of The House in collaboration with Beatport.  Headlining the female-forward party is DJ Heather, Hiroko Yamamura, and Dani Deahl.

Walker & Royce will also helm Spybar on Thursday for a Rules Don’t Apply takeover, while Ben Klock takes on techno at Prysm.

Friday’s Radius After Dark show will highlight legends Eric Prydz and Adam Beyer with Boris Brejcha spinning at Cermak Hall.

Not to mention Nina Kraviz, DJ Slugo, and Hieroglyphic Being at Concord Music Hall; Anfisa Letyago and DJ Minx at Spybar, VTSS B2B Boys Noize at Smart Bar, and Mall Grab and Kettama at Metro.

Saturday is Chicago vs Detroit, showcasing pioneer veterans from both electronic homesteads including The Blessed Madonna, Moodymann, Carl Craig, Mike Dunn, and DJ Pierre presented by Test Pressing.

Afterlife takes the spotlight on Sunday as Tale of Us taps Kevin De Vries for a massive Radius event. Other highlights include Mochakk, Sara Landry, Black Coffee, THEMBA, Vintage Culture B2B Carlita, and Chloé Caillet at their respective events.

And the monstrous weekend concludes with Farris Wheel‘s Anita Dee II Yacht party takeover featuring label head Gene Farris alongside Eskuche.

ARC has had a short but meteoric rise in the house and techno festival space, only beginning three years ago. But their ability to bridge international legacy and local innovation in house’s home of Chicago has cemented it on the list of major destination events for dance music lovers.
