Carissa Lords, a.k.a. Stream Queen, is a former Utah elementary school teacher who started her music career in 2020. With a strong passion for music and attending festivals worldwide, Lords became known for creating her own unique festival costumes and being featured in official after movies and livestreams. Her energy was so infectious people have aptly dubbed her “Stream Queen.”
Now the front row regular is moving into the production studio and behind the DJ booth. Her euro-house focus, sprinkle of bass-house, and hardstyle-inspired tracks have caught the attention of Haus of Panda’s Speed House Movement label. Her new track “Make Some Love” is reminiscent of the European hardstyle acts like Headhunterz, but with the same energy of early 2010s big room.
Haus of Panda said, “I instantly loved this demo when it came in. ‘Make Some Love’ brings back the big room’s anthemic energy paired up with speed house tempos. I knew this would be a festival banger for this summer.” This modern take on the two genres will have listeners feeling like they are at the EDC Wasteland stage at 4AM.
This is the third single from Stream Queen, but she also has plenty of new music in the works. She’s also no stranger to live shows as she’s performed at Time OC with Jeffrey Sutorious and Groove Cruise Orlando. Fans can soon catch her on Groove Cruise Cabo this October.
