ArtsDistrict Brooklyn Partners With La Cala To Host Summertime Open-Air Event Series

ArtsDistrict Brooklyn Courtyard

Brooklyn-based promoter La Cala Presents will partner with the state-of-the-art venue ArtsDistrict Brooklyn to deliver a series of open-air sunset shows on Saturdays throughout the summer.

Some of NYC’s top talent in house music will take over ArtsDistrict’s courtyard space with scenic views of Manhattan and the East River for season one of the event titled: “Indulgence.”

“We’re creating a party series for New Yorkers to experience something unique and transcendent in the open air. We want to create magic moments for dancing and celebration through daylight, sunset, and dusk,” said Ethan Stine, La Cala co-founder.

The first Indulgence party will kick off on June 10 from 3PM-10PM with performances from Junior Sanchez, Miss Jennifer, Warhov, and more.

Though the party will not go late into the night, the sound system is sure to be booming. Audiophiles can rejoice as La Cala has employed pro-audio manufacturer Traction Sound to give their groundbreaking speaker technology its NYC debut.

Since opening last summer, ArtsDistrict Brooklyn’s reclaimed industrial space has hosted an impressive schedule of events with some big names in house and techno including Carlita, Dixon, Nina Kraviz, Kevin de Vries, and Seth Troxler. Nicole Moudaber also announced an immersive event at the venue coming in late July.

Check out the full lineup for the first La Cala Indulgence party below. Tickets are now available via Shotgun.live.
