Audius Brings The Power Back To The People With Decentralized Streaming

In today’s corporate-fueled world of music, decentralization looks to bring the power back to the people.

Enter Audius, a decentralized platform making music more fair, more transparent, and less restricted for both listeners and creators.

Audius is giving creators the control to promote and sell their music on their own terms as a decentralized music platform that connects artists and fans directly.

There are more than 6 million active listeners and superfans on Audius looking to engage with both new and well-recognized artists and discover music that doesn’t exist elsewhere or is undiscovered by the major music services.

Audius listeners can also be tastemakers themselves and can promote and share the unique finds they discover on the platform.

Audius is a collective of artists, labels, software developers, and fans who not only comprise but also own the Audius Network. It’s the first community-owned and governed music service of its kind that rewards the users who help it grow.

Users can acquire $AUDIO tokens for contributing to the success of the Audius Network by running nodes and hosting content. Artists can upload and share their music, and fans can create playlists and invite their friends.

The more $AUDIO you earn, the higher your voting weight in making decisions on the future direction of the Audius Network. There’s no monopolistic corporation making the rules, just music lovers.

You can download the Audius app and check out some of your favorite artists like Zedd, Dillon Francis, Subtronics, Disclosure, Zeds Dead, and deadmau5, or discover new favorites here.
