For the second year in a row, ‘Levels’ has appeared as #1 on Tomorrowland’s Top 1000
Every year, Tomorrowland counts down the top 1,000 tracks as voted on by fans. This years countdown came down to the wire, as Avicii’s ‘Levels‘ competed with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s ‘Mammoth‘ and Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Don’t You Worry Child.‘ This year’s charts featured 5 new entries in the top 10 and 92 new entries overall. Although Avicii’s ‘Levels‘ obtained the #1 spot, Martin Garrix is still the most popular artist, with 35 total tracks appearing on Tomorrowland’s Top 1000.
Following Garrix is Axwell, who has 32 total tracks on Tomorrowland’s Top 1000 and Tiësto who has 31 total tracks. As for specific countries, Tomorrowland has reported that the Netherlands is the country most represented in the Tomorrowland Top 1000 chart. Despite all of the amazing festival anthems submitted, Avicii’s ‘Levels‘ has taken home the crown for the second year in a row. Avicii’s dad and founder of the Tim Bergling Foundation (Klaus Bergling), released the following statement regarding Avicii securing the #1 spot,
“This is fantastic and I feel very honored. It’s his piece, work and personality, so it’s amazing. I’m very grateful and it makes me very emotional. I want to give all the People of Tomorrow a big hug!”
