Avoure Drops New 80s Synth-Filled Track On This Never Happened, “Spectrum”

This Never Happened regular, Avoure, has just released an ambient, 80s synth-filled new single called “Spectrum.”

“Spectrum” is a nostalgic and moody track with an epic 80s-inspired sound that’s one part progressive trance, one part melodic house.

Speaking about the new single on his social media, Avoure stated, “For ‘Spectrum,’ I pushed my boundaries and used analog synths for at least 80% of the sounds in the track. It was a completely new experience for me and I believe, it’s given the track a unique and organic shape that sets it apart from my usual sound.”

He continued, “The inspiration for this track came from my love for psychedelic rock and indie music. By fusing these genres together, I aimed to create a sound that’s both nostalgic and contemporary.”

This piece follows his wave-making recent release “Illuminate” with Jem Cooke, the vocalist from CamelPhat’s chart-topping “Breath” and “Rabbit Hole.”

But he might be best recognized for his emotional 2019 remix of “See The End” by Above & Beyond and Seven Lions.

Avoure is a Ukrainian DJ and producer who recently relocated to California due to conflict in his home country this past year.

He was a prominent feature on a special This Never Happened Stands With Ukraine compilation of all the Ukrainian artists released on the label. All the proceeds went to the artists, the Ukrainian army, the British Red Cross, UNICEF, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
