Awakenings has shared initial details for its Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) programming this fall.
When the global dance music industry flocks to Amsterdam for this year’s conference, the renowned Dutch techno festival and events brand will return to its longtime ADE stomping grounds at the city’s famous Gashouder and Ziggo Dome venues from October 16-19, with eight artist and label-curated events.
Techno-Eurodance favorite Marlon Hoffstadt—aka DJ Daddy Trance—will kick off Awakenings’ annual “Temple of Techno” run with a curated “Daddycation” party at the Gashouder on October 16. Following the sold-out daytime show, Adam Beyer will bring his Drumcode Records crew to the reclaimed industrial gas plant for a nighttime label showcase on October 17.
Awakenings’ 2024 ADE gauntlet continues with a day-to-night doubleheader from Four Tet and Adriatique, presenting their “X” show, on October 18, followed by Amsterdam’s own Joris Voorn’s Spectrum party and Italian stalwart Joseph Capriati’s Metamorfosi event on October 19.
Finally, the brand will close out ADE 2024 strong with a to-be-announced Sunday closing special on October 20, but not before Belgian techno maven Amelie Lens brings her acclaimed EXHALE event series back to the Ziggo Dome on October 19.

Before Awakenings sets up shop in Amsterdam this fall, the brand will bring its hallmark Awakenings Summer Festival back to Hilvarenbeek, the Netherlands from July 5-7, featuring performances from 999999999, Anfisa Letyago, CamelPhat, Enrico Sangiuliano, Nina Kraviz and more.
